The ruggedized R style 212R keypad features a cast aluminum housing along with an all metal face-plate that has been treated with polyurethane to increase its protection from corrosion. This model uses a all metal Braille, alpha-numeric keys. There is also an internal sounder that indicates key press feedback. The housing is mountable on a variety of surfaces. Suggested mounting includes; gate goose-necks, post, concrete walls, etc. Additionally the on-board tamper loop provides additional tamper resistance that can indicate the removal of the face-plate.
