Aprilaire’s 8053 Surface Mount Temperature Sensor provides an upgrade for the Aprilaire 8870 Communicating Thermostat or Aprilaire 8570 Programmable Thermostat. The sensor can be mounted on a wall and has a small plastic cover that conceals the sensor. Works with Aprilaire 8870 and 8570 thermostats.
