This Amerex B500 5lb ABC Dry Chemical Fire Extinguisher features an aluminum valve with a light- to medium-duty anodized aluminum valve body and an anodized aluminum handle and lever. Designed for longevity, the extinguisher has a durable high gloss polyester powder paint with an all-metal valve construction.

The Amerex ABC fire extinguisher utilizes a specially fluidized and siliconized mono ammonium phosphate dry chemical. It chemically insulates Class A fires by melting at approximately 350°F and coats surface to which it is applied. It smothers and breaks the chain reaction of Class B fires and will not conduct electricity back to the operator. Equipped with Bilingual Labels. The abc fire extinguisher is suitable for types of fires involving ordinary combustibles, flammable liquid and energized electrical equipment.
