The Alpha Communications® VDS150 Duty Station provides an indication of incoming calls in work areas away from the Nurse Call Master Control Station(s).
Normal calls are indicated by a steady light and intermittent tone. Emergency calls take precedence and are indicated by a flashing solid state LED light and a pulsating tone. A "Tone-Off" slide switch permits silencing of the tone signal for normal calls only. All electronic components are mounted on a circuit board. The VDS150 features a built-in Red LED and electronic buzzer.
The VDS150is used primarily with the AlphaLinQ™ 100 series visual nurse-call system, but can be used and is backwards compatible with some older systems as well. The VDS150 is U.L. 1069 listed, to the latest standards.
