The Amerex model 331 is a 15lb CO2 Fire Extinguisher. This Extinguisher releases carbon dioxide in a snow like fashion. Doing this it blankets the fire eliminating its oxygen. Great for use on Class B fires which involve flammable liquids this agent is unable to conduct electricity.
Carbon Dioxide is a clean, non-contaminating, odorless gas. This allows the extinguisher to meet many hospital medical equipment requirements.
