Description

The Amerex ABC fire extinguisher utilizes a specially fluidized and siliconized mono ammonium phosphate dry chemical. It chemically insulates Class A fires by melting at approximately 350°F and coats surface to which it is applied. It smothers and breaks the chain reaction of Class B fires and will not conduct electricity back to the user. The abc fire extinguisher is suitable for types of fires involving ordinary combustibles, flammable liquids and energized electrical equipment.

Hot dip galvanized drawn steel cylinders, high gloss polyester powder paint, and metal valve construction ensure that this extinguisher is both reliable and long-lasting. The extinguisher also features gauge guards and chrome plated brass . High flow rate-fast discharge and quicker knockdown provide more user protection. Wide grip allows clearance for gloved hand.
